Food Service Refrigeration – Best Practice Design

System contingency is vital in ensuring that a Food Service Refrigeration installation provides the maximum level of operational performance…

Hotels and restaurants in 2015 incorporate a variety of important and critical building services and one of the main areas of technical design focus is that of ensuring that the temperature in the building meets the guest requirements 365 days per year.

Air conditioning is treated with the highest priority and is designed to ensure that optimum performance and reliability are delivered with efficient equipment, robust system design and the highest levels of contingency, which are all geared towards ensuring that the comfort within the guest areas is maintained.

BREEAM Solutions from Green Cooling

Did you know that the selection of Cooling & Heating equipment could provide significant BREEAM benefits?

Green Cooling provide a range of natural and hydrocarbon based refrigeration systems that enable a specifier to potentially achieve over 15% of a buildings BREEAM credits via the buildings core services.

A cost effective way to gain BREEAM points within the design of essential cooling and heating systems.

Refrigerant Options Now and in the Future

This white paper discusses refrigerants from a Danfoss Perspective.

Intelligent, efficient, low-GWP refrigerants, both natural and synthetic, are the key to sustainable refrigeration and air con. Danfoss are conducting research into low global warming potential refrigerants to help slow and eventually reverse the process of global warming. The key is to ensure these new cooling methods are affordable, perform and are safe to use.

We’re all looking for safe, practical and competitive energy solutions – and this paper can help you understand how.

Green Cooling one year on…

Progress and Potential

Green Cooling is now moving into its second year of operations having completed a successful & profitable first year.

First year projects have ranged from delivering specialist applications utilising natural refrigerants all the way through to specifying & installing more standard cold room systems.

Green Cooling’s initial objective was to use the experience of its team to deliver innovative and efficient refrigeration based installations within the food service and food processing/manufacturing sectors.

This objective is now being achieved as projects have been secured for 2014/15 with both existing and new customers across the complete spectrum of food related applications.
